Les Jacquets

Featuring a small oyster port nestled at the bottom of a lagoon, Les Jacquets brings together all the charms of the bay’s villages:

from lovely Arcachon-style houses to fishing huts built on the sand, panoramic views of the whole bay area and the Ile aux oiseaux, oyster tastings “by the waterside at the edge of the world”… Stretching on an imposing sand dune, the Jacquets national forest separates the oyster-farming district from the beach of the same name, which is never exposed, even at low tide, and leads to the village of Petit Piquey.
